Welcome to the James E. Dottke Project-Based Learning High School website! Since 1983, we have been intentionally different in how we do school and are now proud to deliver a student-driven, project-based learning education that serves up to 250 students of all backgrounds and abilities in grades 9-12. At Dottke, we move beyond rigorous content delivery by expecting our students to then apply what they’ve learned in meaningful, authentic ways that have a positive impact on themselves, their school, their community or the world.
Dottke students learn by doing.
A Dottke graduate leaves ready to take on the world.
***Dottke High School is a public school that is part of the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District. Students must be enrolled in the WAWMSD in order to be eligible to attend our school.
